A resource for First Responders and Essential Workers who have experienced trauma in the worlplace
We are mental health professionals, teachers, nurses, doctors, care givers, police officers, deputies and firefighters who are dedicated to serving underprivileged populations and understand that in serving these populations we often experience trauma. Through seminars, workshops, yoga therapy, training’s and retreats, Life.First.Essential serves our fellow first responders and essential caregivers.
To create a learning and wellness environment that will further develop how to better manage critical and complex client care. In order to best manage client care, the focus needs to be on self care!

When Covid – 19 hit our Emergency Departments, Jails, Care Homes and Treatment Facilities we had to ask ourselves complex questions: are we willing to risk our lives to save the lives of others? We said yes because that is what we do, we respond!
However, we also realize that dedication comes at a cost. We often provide care in the darkest of hours and several of us have had to provide care amidst violence and racial tension.
