A resource for First Responders and Essential Workers who have experienced trauma in the worlplace

The Mission

To create a yoga and wellness studio for first responders and essential caregivers who have experienced trauma in the work place. This space will include yoga and wellness classes as well as seminars on how to manage trauma and other mental health issues on the job.

We are mental health professionals, nurses, doctors, police officers, deputies and firefighters who are dedicated to serving underprivileged populations and understand that in serving these populations we often experience trauma. Through seminars, workshops, trainings and retreats we live to serve our fellow first responders and essential workers.

When Covid – 19 hit our Emergency Departments, Jails, Care Homes and Treatment Facilities we had to ask ourselves complex questions: are we willing to risk our lives to save the lives of others? We said yes because that is what we do, we respond!

However, we also realize that dedication comes at a cost.

“He allowed himself to be swayed by his conviction that human beings are not born once and for all on the day their mothers give birth to them, but that life obliges them over and over again to give birth to themselves.”

― Gabriel García Márquez, Love in the Time of Cholera
