Day Trip to Milo McIver State Park, OR
This day trip is specifically designed for First Responders and Essential Care Staff (i.e. anyone that provides care in a traumatic setting- teachers, social workers, clinicians etc.)
On Sunday September 12th we are planning a day trip to the beautiful Milo Mclver State Park which is situated along the scenic Clackamas River.
+We will meet at 11 am and will be hiking along the Vortex, Maple Ridge and Riverbend trails (this is a moderate hike).
+After our hike (ideally we will wrap up at 1 p.m.) we will be offering Yin Yoga – this is definitely chill yoga! By incorporating principles of traditional Chinese medicine, Yin Yoga targets your deep connective tissues like your fascia, ligaments, joints, and bones. It’s slower and more meditative, giving you space to turn inward and tune into both your mind and the physical sensations of your body.
*Please bring your own mat. If you do not have one, we will have extra sanitized mats. All mats will be placed over 6 ft apart.
+If Yoga is not for you the park also offers Disk Golf, Kayaking and Paddle Boarding
+2:30 pm lunch – Due to Covid 19 safety measures, please bring your own lunch
+Break out into a Focus Group – the intention of this focus group is to gather information from you! And to see what you want from retreats going forward. You will not be expected to talk about your feelings (unless you want to!)
+Masks and hand sanitizer will be provided. Masks are required when you are within 6ft of an individual
Due to the nature of this retreat, which will orient around a focus group of first responders, the rate will donation based.
+In order to accommodate social distancing only 12 slots are available.
